As a team member, you will be responsible for providing a variety of outdoor maintenance services that helps maintain and preserve the health and beauty of the campus. |
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions | Function | Responsibilities | % Time | Maintenance Tasks | 1. Perform daily maintenance and inspection of trees, plants, lawn and hardscape. Irrigate, prune, fertilize, mow, edge, trim and cultivate, using various power and hand tools. Identify plant pests and diseases and report to supervisor. (E) 2. Maintain all areas adjacent to landscaped areas by sweeping and hosing off debris, emptying trash containers, etc. (E) | 90% | General Tasks | 1. Maintain accurate hours worked on each job and special events. (E) 2. Operate and maintain a variety of power and/or hand tools, vehicles and equipment related to job function. (E) 3. Ensure and transport materials, equipment and personnel to and from job site expeditiously. (E) 4. Follow established safety procedures at all times including inspecting vehicles, tools and equipment for signs of damage, malfunction or deterioration on a regular basis.
