In this role, you will work to secure philanthropic support among alumni, parents and friends across a wide range of geographical regions with a focus on lower level major gifts in the $50,000+ range. Through alumni and donor engagement, public outreach and fundraising, our Regional Giving team works to strengthen unit development offices by consulting and partnering with campus fundraisers to increase donor involvement and overall philanthropy in regions across the nations. Serving as the Associate Director of Development, Regional Giving for the New York/Northeast region who will reside and work in the New York metro/Northeast region, you will work collaboratively with the Senior Director of Development Regional Giving East Coast and Midwest to plan and implement a strong, proactive major gift program. You will focus on all aspects of fundraising and stewardship of donors with the capacity to give at $50,000 and above to UCLA in the NY metro and Northeast regions. Using advanced fundraising concepts, strategic discovery efforts and regional expertise, you will develop and maintain a portfolio of individual lower level major gift prospects capable of giving gifts between $50,000 and above for assigned and new regions as appropriate. Working closely with the Senior Director for the East Coast and Midwest regions, the Deputy Director of Development and in close collaboration with campus fundraisers, you will gain knowledge of campus programs and priorities, support the development/stewardship of regional boards, plan and staff academic and administrative leadership travel (including Deans and faculty) to your regions and coordinate small- and large- scale donor engagements. | | | |

Collaboratively deploy a plan to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward lower-level major gift prospects/donors in assigned region/s to focus on gifts of $50K+. 2. Develop/manage portfolio of regional prospects; maintain active awareness of all prospects at all stages of donor cycle. 3. Utilizing appropriate resources, develop, prioritize/maintain prospects/donor lists; conduct/participate in prospect identification/management meetings; help identify/develop strategies for higher level major gift prospects. 4. Work with/organize current donors/volunteers to identify donor prospects/develop apt cultivation/solicitation strategies; build a committee of volunteers in assigned region/s to support fundraising efforts; directly support solicitations of volunteers/academic leaders. | 60% | | 5.
