POSITION SUMMARY | UCLA's sports championship history stands out as one of the most impressive of any university. As the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (DIA)'s Senior Director of Stewardship, you will work in close partnership with the Executive Senior Associate Athletic Officer/Chief Development Officer and be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive donor stewardship and events program that enhances the donor experience and supports the Athletic Department's strategic priorities and philanthropic support through meaningful donor relations and stewardship. As our Senior Director, Stewardship, you will work in collaboration with frontline fundraising team, marketing and communications departments, university stewardship team, and coaches. Responsibilities include creating stewardship plans, developing best practices and maintaining consistency with campus-wide stewardship policies/procedures, developing and enhancing tracking processes, and developing and communicating program goals and activities to fundraising and athletics colleagues/leadership. In this role, your work will be a vital element to expand the depth and impact of the UCLA Athletics program through developing innovative strategies and resources that facilitate engagement and maximize exposure of UCLA Athletics to our constituents and stakeholders. In addition, you will manage professional and support staff as appropriate, guiding and leading them to produce high quality and successful stewardship outcomes.
