POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Associate drives outreach, conducts cold calling and scheduling for our Account Executives while developing sales experiences on a dynamic team. The position involves the selling of activities, services or products by identifying prospects and or audiences; involves the promoting of activities, services or products for sale; may use a "brand" to influence customers and may involve advertising the activities, services or products for sale via press, television and radio. Involves directly interacting with the sales prospects to persuade them to purchase the activities, services or products. The Associate uses sales concepts in performing non-complex sales activities, participating in events designed to promote awareness within the organization and to the general public of services, programs, or products. Demonstrates developing understanding of industry practices and organization policies and procedures.


Department Summary

We are Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB), providing innovative resources and practice-oriented tools that help attorneys better serve their clients. From online legal research and MCLE to forms solutions and print books, CEB strives to make high-quality legal information accessible to everyone, from rural solo practices to large law firms.

 

Founded in 1947, CEB is one of California’s oldest and most prestigious legal information and continuing legal education providers. CEB publishes judgments of California case law, practical guidance for attorneys and, CLE all in a variety of practice areas and formats e.g. print, online and, in-person.  CEB operates as a nonprofit within the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).  We are an arm of UCLA Extension as we provide continuing education needed for licensed lawyers and other legal professionals.

ʉۢ Outbound prospecting to companies through outbound calling (including cold-calling), e-mail, marketing campaigns, etc.

ʉۢ Collaborate with and leverage Revenue Operations teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities

ʉۢ Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using SalesForce

ʉۢ Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for activity and appointments

ʉۢ Conduct high level discovery and educational conversations with all levels of management in prospects or targeted accounts.

ʉۢ Triage inbound sales leads and either hand off or close depending on who should be assigned.

ʉۢ Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of CEB's product suite in order to present and articulate product features, benefits and overall solutions.
