In this role, you will be a member of UCLA HSD's frontline fundraising team responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting gifts from grateful patients, prospects and donors with a specific focus on gifts at the $2,500+ level. You will focus on fundraising for programs within the Integrative Medicine Collaborative, including initiatives that increase support for Sound Body Sound Mind, Operation Mend, the Music Therapy Program, UCLA Mindful, UCLArts & Healing, and other priority areas as assigned. You will manage a portfolio of current and/or lapsed donors and will create individualized cultivation and solicitation strategies and timetables. You will strategize and oversee execution of a variety of donor cultivation events with a focus on leadership level gifts. In collaboration with HSD core program teams, as an Associate Director, Leadership Giving, you will plan and execute engagement and cultivation activities, donor communications, proposals and related materials. You will work with faculty, program administration and staff, development colleagues and a wide array of other internal and external constituents. Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions | Function | Responsibilities | % Time | Prospect Identification, Cultivation and Solicitation | 1. Identify, cultivate and solicit prospects/donors; identify legitimate prospects for support and secure funding from current/lapsed donors, focusing on gifts of $2,500+. 2. Qualify and create core of prospects; maintain awareness at all stages of identification, cultivation and solicitation. 3. Explore opportunities for engaging, cultivating, and soliciting new audiences; plan/implement cultivation activities to broaden base of support. 4. Create/implement strategies to increase participation of new donors; encourage current/past donors to renew at greater levels. 5. Conduct personal visits with prospects not managed by major gift officers; solicit leadership level and junior level major gifts as appropriate. | 80% | | 6.
