As the Associate Director, Leadership Giving, you will be member of UCLA Student Affairs' frontline fundraising team responsible for the identification, cultivation and solicitation of gifts from alumni and friends of UCLA with a specific focus on soliciting gifts ranging from $2,500 and up for Student Affairs. You will identify and manage a portfolio of current and/or lapsed donors and will create individualized cultivation and solicitation strategies and timetables. You will strategize and oversee execution of a variety of donor cultivation events with a focus on leadership level gifts. In addition, you will work in partnership with the Director of Development, Student Affairs and other development team members on a wide variety of fundraising projects and initiatives and will be a strong contributor to the broader mission of the External Affairs office. **Please note, this is a hybrid position.** | | | |

Identify, cultivate and solicit prospects/donors; identify legitimate prospects for support; secure funding from current/lapsed donors, focusing on leadership level gifts of $2,500+ and/or as appropriate. 2. Qualify/create core of prospects; maintain awareness at all stages of identification, cultivation and solicitation. 3. Explore opportunities for engaging, cultivating, and soliciting new audiences; plan/implement cultivation activities to broaden base of support. 4. Create/implement strategies to increase participation of new donors; encourage current/past donors to renew at greater levels. 5. Conduct personal visits with prospects not managed by major gift officers; solicit leadership level/ junior level major gifts as appropriate. | 80% | | 6.
