POSITION SUMMARY | Join us as the Director, Global Engagement within UCLA's Alumni Communities team, where you will have an opportunity to guide our global alumni engagement efforts as you work with us on deepening Bruin connections, here in Los Angeles and worldwide. With a global community of close to 700,000 alumni, there are countless opportunities to reimagine how we support and unite our powerful community of Bruins. Under the guidance of the Alumni Communities & Engagement Pathways Team Lead, you will focus on implementing UCLA's region-based alumni engagement strategy. We encourage you bring your strong program/project management experience, collaborative abilities, innovative ideas, and passion for making connections to this vital role. In this role, you will be focused on building and strengthening community among Alumni both domestically and internationally by connecting alumni back to UCLA and to each other. As the Director, you will further cultivate our global community through strategic outreach, targeted programming and the power of storytelling. You will purposefully identify, develop, and further strengthen alumni communities and will partner closely with volunteer leaders to build leadership and enhance region-based engagement to advance university priorities. You will create value-added programs, experiences and content in partnership with other engagement teams and across Alumni Affairs. As the Director, Global Engagement, you will execute a sustainable partnership model for alumni communities, alumni volunteer identification and volunteer development, and a collaborative approach to region-based engagement and programming. You will partner closely with Academic Departments, International Institute, Development, Government and Community Relations and other key departments to coordinate outreach, programming, and to reach common goals. Collaboratively conceptualize, develop and implement strategies to foster/manage relationships with Alumni worldwide and lead global engagement efforts, pathways, programs and content development for increased global Alumni engagement. 2.
