POSITION SUMMARY

The UC|CSU Collaborative for Neuroscience, Diversity and Learning (UC|CSU Collaborative) was established in the California Budget Act of 2019 and expanded in 2022 with the ambitious goal of improving outcomes for diverse learners. The UC|CSU Collaborative is legislatively mandated to translate research to practice and to train education practitioners across California beginning in pre-service with this usable knowledge. For maximize reach, the UC|CSU Collaborative uses Arraya Learning - the first centralized UC|CSU-developed educator learning platform – which currently serves 8,000 + practitioners and has an average current growth rate of 200+ users per week. Arraya Learning is central to the work in dissemination, with 150+ evidence-based modules spanning PK–3, adolescent development, inclusive practices, high-quality Individual Education Plans (IEPs), behavioral and mental health, and digital wellbeing, it supports implementation of major state reforms and reaches users across all 23 CSU campuses, all 10 UC campuses, and partners statewide. The UC|CSU Collaborative is continuously expanding the Arraya platform for synchronous learning opportunities for educators and teacher education faculty across the state.

 

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of technology-driven projects that support Arraya Learning and related UC|CSU Collaborative initiatives. This role oversees project management, content publishing operations, platform administration, stakeholder and vendor coordination, and technology integration efforts. The position partners with cross-functional teams, faculty, and external vendors to develop scalable processes, optimize workflows, and implement innovative solutions that enhance learning experiences, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.

1. Lead end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of complex projects from initiation through completion for Arraya.

 

2. Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and implementation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

 

3. Oversee content publishing operations and manage the full product development lifecycle for Arraya Learning.

 

4. Administer and maintain the Arraya Learning Content Management System, ensuring timely and accurate publication of all content.

 

5. Coordinate onboarding processes, Airtable system management, and staging/review workflows.

 

6. Develop custom pages based on UX needs using JSON.

 

7. Partner with internal teams and external vendors, including Allyance Logic, to support platform development and custom build initiatives.

 

8. Support execution of large-scale initiatives (e.g., annual Summit), which involved adapting project plans for an in-person even to developing and implementing technical solutions for a fully virtual conference.

Strategic Planning & Technology Integration

1. Develop and implement strategic project roadmaps aligned with operational priorities and technology adoption (e.g., Asana, Slack, Canva, Arraya Learning).

 

2. Establish performance metrics, project plans, and timelines to guide execution and measure success.

 

3. Facilitate recurring meetings with leadership, team members, and external partners to drive alignment and decision-making.

 

4. Design and maintain centralized project tracking systems (e.g., Asana), including:

- Master project calendars

- Capacity planning tools

- Roadmap visibility for leadership

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

1. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

 

2. Serve as primary liaison between internal teams, external partners, and technology vendors.

 

3. Oversee vendor relationships related to platform development in conjunction with UC|CSU Collaborative leadership, including:

- Contract management

- Purchasing processes

- PO and invoice tracking

 

4. Collaborate with academic partners (UC and CSU faculty, speakers) to support webinars, events, and digital content initiatives.

Program Development & Operational Infrastructure

1. Design and implement scalable processes, frameworks, and systems to support program and project delivery.

 

2. Establish standardized project management methodologies, templates, and best practices.

 

3. Develop and optimize workflows within project management platforms (e.g., Asana).

 

4. Integrate tools across the team’s technology stack to improve efficiency and collaboration.
