Representing Payroll Partner for projects within UCLA, UC PATH, and other UC locations.Over the course of a project, the PM will need to communicate with staff and clients, make decisions and monitor the progress of the project to keep it on schedule. Important responsibilities for the PM include managing projects having a defined beginning and end. Manages the project's framework processes and methodologies involving departmental or cross-functional teams. Plans, coordinates, and monitors scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, tasks, risks, staff and deliverables. Monitors the project from initiation through completion. Organizes and leads activities relating to the management and completion of projects.The PM is a Professional who applies acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to complete substantive assignments / projects / tasks of moderate scope and complexity; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action.

Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines (E)  Source and appropriately leverage internal resources as business and functional leads and team members on projects (E)  Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy (E)  Complete projects on time within budget and within scope (E)  Oversee all aspects of projects including deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress (E)  Provide periodic status to management as required (E)  Work directly with partners and stakeholders to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. Coordinate with departments to ensure all aspects of projects are compatible and in alignment with the project goals (E)  Communicate with leadership to keep projects aligned with departmental and organizational goals (E)  Perform quality control on projects throughout development to maintain the expected standards (E)  Develop, adjust, and communicate schedules, targets, and changes on project as needed (E)  Perform post-project reviews (E)
