POSITION SUMMARY | Under the general supervision of Dr. Michelle Craske, the incumbent will contribute to the design and execution of an extramurally-funded project, Unconscious Reduction of Fear Through Decoded Neuro-Reinforcement (DecNef), examining the mechanisms and behavioral outcomes of a novel treatment for for reducing fear responses in individuals with phobias. Responsibilities include providing clinical oversight for extramurally-funded projects in the lab; data coding and organization; data analysis and manuscript preparation; and supervising post-baccalaureate staff members and students on clinical assessments and related research projects. | | | |
Department Summary | The UCLA Department of Psychology is an exceptional department known for its excellence in research, teaching, and service. With a distinguished faculty comprising more than 60 ladder rank members, it is one of the nation's top psychology departments. Its undergraduate program is the largest within the Division of Life Sciences and the UCLA College, with 5000 undergraduate students enrolled across three majors: Psychology, Psychobiology, and Cognitive Science.
