POSITION SUMMARY | The Diet, Stigma, and Health Lab is hiring a full-time research analyst to play a critical part in supporting high-impact community engaged research funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The analyst will be responsible for data harmonization, designing and maintaining data management systems, conducting advanced statistical analysis, and preparing funding reporting deliverables. These roles will be essential in contributing to manuscripts and helping community partners meet their missions. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, effective at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and protocol adherence. They will also have outstanding data analytic skills including experience in missing data protocols. | | | |
Department Summary | The UCLA Department of Psychology is an exceptional department known for its excellence in research, teaching, and service. With a distinguished faculty comprising more than 60 ladder rank members, it is one of the nation's top psychology departments. Its undergraduate program is the largest within the Division of Life Sciences and the UCLA College, with nearly 5,000 undergraduate students enrolled across three majors: Psychology, Psychobiology, and Cognitive Science and a minor program, Applied Developmental Psychology. The department also offers a comprehensive Ph.D. program with eight areas of study to approximately 200 enrolled graduate students. |

Engage in data harmonization and conduct statistical analysis to support ongoing research projects and new protocols. A5. Gather and generate data files for researchers, including preparing data for external reporting requirements (e.g., Annual Reports to RWJF). A6. Prepare comprehensive reports, summaries, and data visualizations for internal department constituents and stakeholders and external reporting needs. A7.
