POSITION SUMMARY

The Research Data Analyst 2 will conduct research activities that include, but are not limited to, designing and implementing data collection protocols, cleaning and managing datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness, and conducting both descriptive and advanced statistical analyses. The Research Data Analyst 2 will contribute to grant development, including conceptual framing, writing, and preparing budgets, as well as disseminating findings through conference presentations, research briefs, and the preparation of manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals. In addition, they may have opportunities to support conceptual model development, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with interdisciplinary research teams, helping to translate data into actionable insights and policy-relevant recommendations.

ʉۢ Perform statistical analyses (descriptive, inferential, multivariate) using STATA, SPSS, and/or R, interpret the results, and draw meaningful conclusions based on research questions.

ʉۢ Prepare graphs, tables, and other displays of the results of research and analysis.

ʉۢ Assist with the preparation of manuscripts and presentations, including gathering references, copyediting, and confirming internal consistency.

ʉۢ Research and summarize academic and applied research.

ʉۢ Support qualitative research, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups.

ʉۢ Quantitative and qualitative data analysis using statistical software, database management, use of data sets.
