POSITION SUMMARY

The University Consortium for Children and Families (UCCF) is an agreement among UCLA, USC, CSULB, CSULA, CSUN, Azusa Pacific and CSUDH to provide training for LA County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) employed social workers; field instruction for graduate MSW students from participating universities, and support for faculty research in the area of child welfare services in the Social Welfare Department/Luskin School of Public Affairs. The project is referred to as the UCCF/DCFS Training Project. The Senior Public Administrative Analyst (SPAA) provides independent administrative, analytical, and program support for the leadership of UCCF. Functions include: maintaining calendar and appointments; arranging meetings and conferences; prepares agenda and records minutes as required; managing contact information and communications with key internal and external entities; and project management and additional duties as required.The SPAA also assists in other areas of the consortium including the management of curriculum and Request For Services (RFSs), the development and maintenance of the web page, and coordinating events by handling and overseeing the spectrum of logistics required. As part of the team, this position operates in a complex technical operating environment, consisting of an internet-based multiple software system employing several software products (Saba and Content Management System Software package).Takes the lead in some development activities within the organization ensuring they are completed in a timely manner.

A1. The SPAA coordinates a number of UCCF committees where meetings are scheduled, agendas are written and minutes are taken. (E)  A2.              Additionally, the SPAA position organizes conferences and events as needed. (E) A3.              The SPAA also maintains the Director of Curriculum and the Executive Director's calendars and assists these persons in their management positions.(E)
