POSITION SUMMARY | The Research Analyst will support the ReWork team with research and evaluation projects focused on labor and workplace conditions. Specifically, the Research Analyst will contribute to research and evaluation for the Domestic Worker and Employer Education and Outreach Program (DWEOP) and the California Worker Outreach Program (CWOP). These statewide initiatives educate low-wage workers and domestic workers about their rights. The research and evaluation work includes surveys, interviews, focus groups, literature reviews, and analysis of government and administrative data sources. Key responsibilities include supporting research design and methodology development, coordinating data collection efforts, implementing studies, analyzing data, and supporting the writing and dissemination of findings. The Research Analyst will work as part of a collaborative research team to produce reports and develop visually engaging materials for a range of audiences, including community partners, policymakers, and the public. The role requires active engagement with domestic worker organizations, worker centers, community partners, and stakeholders across Los Angeles and California. | | | |

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions | Function | Responsibilities | % Time | Research and Evaluation Design | Support research and evaluation for DWEOP and CWOP by collaborating with project staff to help implement workplans, clarify roles, and track responsibilities. Assist in designing research and evaluation activities, including methodology development and preparation of survey instruments, interview and focus group guides. Help coordinate data collection efforts and contribute to the analysis of research data. Provide guidance and support to graduate and undergraduate students on research and evaluation tasks and data analysis. Develop reference materials and training guides on data management, analysis, and reporting. | 15% | Project Implementation, Data Cleaning and Analysis | Conduct surveys, interviews, focus groups, literature reviews, industry analysis, and analyze government data sources. Create coding systems, codebooks, and data cleaning plans; prepare data for analysis using Dedoose, Excel, SPSS, R, or similar programs. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in datasets.
