POSITION SUMMARY

The HIV Criminalization Project Director will administer social science, public health, and public policy research focused on HIV/AIDS and related to the mission of the Institute in close collaboration with other Williams Institute Scholars. Primary responsibilities include leading data collection efforts and data analysis, managing relationships with collaborators, developing and managing project timelines and study protocols, developing human subjects applications, and writing (literature reviews, reports, manuscripts, grant proposals, fact sheets, graphics, presentations, and so forth.) The Project Director will also present research findings and disseminate research findings in collaboration with other scholars. Participation in Institute meetings, seminars, educational events, and other meetings, as determined by the research supervisor, is required. Supervision of analysts, interns, work study students and volunteers as needed.

1. Create and manage project timelines, including establishing interim goals and deadlines, and monitor study progress in order to complete work on project timelines (E)  2. Maintain project files (e.g., copies of proposals, study materials, human subjects applications, data, program syntax, study reports and other materials) (E)  4.
