POSITION SUMMARY

Under close supervision of the Directors, the Junior Policy Analyst assists in policy, research, and program planning, development, administration, management and implementation. The position participates in interpreting, monitoring and analyzing information regarding policies and procedures and provides information and support to department administrators, stakeholders, and the legal team.


Department Summary

The UCLA Voting Rights Project (VRP) is located within the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and is operated in partnership with the UCLA School of Law and the UCLA School of Social Sciences. VRP works to ensure an accessible and equitable system of voting through impact litigation, research, and clinical education.

Under close supervision, assists in policy, research, and program planning, development, administration, management and implementation; interprets, monitors and analyzes information regarding policies and procedures and provides consultative services to department administrators and other stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement Support

Under close supervision, provides support in cultivating relationships with stakeholders and or policy experts in order to promote LPPI's research and programmatic function. Support organization at public-facing events, webinars, and policy briefings, as needed. Engages with external stakeholders such as vendors, community partners and funders.
