POSITION SUMMARY

The Executive Director provides executive-level operational leadership for the Semiconductor Hub within the UCLA Samueli School of Engineering. The Hub advances semiconductor research, education, workforce development, and technology translation through coordinated industry partnerships and faculty-led research initiatives.

Reporting to the Dean of Engineering and working closely with the Faculty Director and Executive Committee, the Executive Director is responsible for implementing the strategic direction established by Hub leadership; managing industry alliance and membership programs; overseeing administration of sponsored research activities; directing day-to-day operations; supervising staff; and leading revenue development initiatives to ensure long-term program sustainability.

Department Summary

The UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science includes more than 6,500 undergraduate and graduate students and 215 full-time faculty members.
