POSITION SUMMARY | The position reports to the Manager of Client Services and Business Operations within the Human Resources & Payroll Operations Center (HRPOC) and provides comprehensive human resources consultation and operational support to assigned client departments. The position serves as a primary HR resource to managers, supervisors, and employees and independently administers a broad range of human resources programs and services. Responsibilities include recruitment and talent support, onboarding and workforce administration, student employment, personnel actions, organizational support, process improvement initiatives, and interpretation of established human resources policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements. The incumbent exercises independent judgment in analyzing issues of diverse scope, evaluating options, recommending solutions, and ensuring compliance with University policies and practices while supporting operational effectiveness and workforce needs. The incumbent is expected to maintain a regular onsite presence to support assigned client departments, participate in meetings and workforce activities, and provide responsive HR consultation and services. | | | |
Department Summary | Campus Human Resources provides a full range of human resource management services through its various units, including Benefits, Compensation and Classification, Employee and Labor Relations, HR & Payroll Operations Center, Learning and Organizational Development, Staff and Faculty Counseling Center and Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning. The HR & Payroll Operations Center provides human resources and payroll services to a diverse client pool and assists with ongoing campus initiatives and special projects. |
