Serving as a strong partner to the Sr. Associate Dean of External Affairs, as our Executive Director, you will develop and execute long- and short-term strategies to secure major and principal gifts from individuals, alumni, foundations and other entities in support of Anderson's mission and strategic plan. You will manage the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major and principal gift prospects ($100,000 and up), with an emphasis on endowed chairs and other program endowments in the $500,000 to $3 million or higher range. You will develop goals and objectives for the major gifts program, manage the major gifts team, prepare annual operating plans of the unit, and evaluate progress at appropriate intervals. As our Executive Director, you will manage a portfolio of prospects as well as provide development support to several Research Centers. Working closely with the school's Dean, Senior Associate Dean, volunteers, faculty, student, development staff and other colleagues, school and campus-wide, will enable you to gain deep knowledge and understanding of Anderson's programs and priorities to provide the necessary leadership, assistance, advice and counsel on fundraising strategies and initiatives. In this role, you will also oversee our Annual Giving team, which includes Leadership Annual Giving, Reunion Giving, and Student/Young Alumni Giving, and plays a central role in engaging our broader community each year. Together, this group works to build meaningful connections, inspire philanthropy across all stages of the alumni journey, and strengthen the foundation of support that advances UCLA Anderson's mission.
