Responsibilities include identifying and engaging community partners; conducting stakeholder interviews and community consultations to assess local priorities, needs and assets; developing and coordinating community training and capacity-building activities; developing and disseminating culturally responsive educational and outreach materials; and contributing to the design, implementation, and evaluation of community-partnered health disparities research projects.  The position will also support the collection and synthesis of information from community settings to assess current outreach and research efforts, identify unmet needs, and help guide future program and research directions. Regular travel to community sites throughout Los Angeles County is required to facilitate relationship-building, field research activities and support, and ongoing engagement with community stakeholders.  Through this work, the Community Programs Manager will help ensure that the work of both Centers is grounded in community perspectives and responsive to the health priorities of vulnerable and historically underserved populations in Los Angeles and surrounding counties.
