POSITION SUMMARY | Under the supervision of the Chief of Staff to the Chancellor, the Managing Director, Chancellor's Office serves as a senior strategic advisor, operational leader, and executive project manager supporting the work of the Chancellor and the Chancellor's Office. This role exercises significant judgment, discretion, and political acumen in coordinating cross-functional initiatives, leading special projects, and providing operational oversight within the Chancellor's Office. The incumbent will lead the implementation of executive initiatives; provide high-level analytical support and policy guidance; represent the Chancellor's Office in interactions with senior campus leadership and external partners; and ensure that institutional priorities are advanced efficiently and effectively. The Managing Director also oversees the daily administration and personnel management of the Chancellor's Office, ensuring alignment with UC policies and procedures. This position requires expert knowledge of university governance, campus operations, and the ability to work in a highly dynamic, sensitive, and confidential environment. | | | |

Works with the Chief of Staff to ensure the Residence is in a state of complete readiness for all activities, including university events, dinners, and meetings with high-profile stakeholders.
