POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Program Director, this position coordinates and supports program operations for PAETC Southern California training initiatives, including participant recruitment and registration, marketing and outreach, training logistics, development and dissemination of training materials, and administrative, technical, and financial support for training activities. The position oversees continuing education certification processes, supports data collection and reporting requirements, and ensures compliance with program and funding requirements. In addition, the incumbent coordinates activities for the PAETC Southern Region Interprofessional Education (IPE) Program and serves as a liaison with participating partners and stakeholders.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT FOR PAETC SOUTHERN REGION ACTIVITIES

1. Provide administrative support in recruitment and enrollment activities for PAETC Southern Region training programs of the trainees, including participant outreach strategies and coordination with affiliated training sites to ensure achievement of program objectives.

2. Coordinate and monitor compliance activities related to federal, state, and local requirements governing training content and continuing education; identify issues and recommend corrective actions to ensure program adherence to applicable policies and standards.

3. Coordinate implementation of HIV-related training curricula across UCLA and subcontracted or affiliated university and clinical sites, ensuring consistency with program goals and established educational standards.

4. Manage the development and maintenance of asynchronous online HIV training modules.

5. Oversee training program evaluation and compliance functions to enhance program effectiveness and accountability.

6. Administer financial and operational processes related to training activities, including honoraria, reimbursements, and procurement of supplies; ensure expenditures comply with university requirements.

OUTREACH AND OTHER DUTIES

1. Coordinate and administer marketing and outreach activities for PAETC Southern California training programs, including targeted communications strategies, preparation and review of promotional materials, approval submissions, and dissemination of information to HIV service providers.

2. Serve as the primary administrative liaison between PAETC Southern California and subcontracted and affiliated university and clinical sites, by coordinating program activities, facilitating communication, and ensuring consistent implementation of program requirements and objectives.

3. Serve as the point of contact and liaison between PAETC Southern California and federal, state, and local government agencies and external partners that monitor policy and regulatory developments related to HIV prevention, care, and treatment.

4. Other duties as assigned in support of program and departmental objectives.
