POSITION SUMMARY | Under the general direction of the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, the Administrative Finance Compliance Analyst for Student Programming Activities (SPA) serves as the senior fiscal leader responsible for the financial stewardship, compliance oversight, and budgetary planning of student-initiated programs. This position ensures responsible administration and equitable distribution of more than $2.5 million annually in student fees, referenda funds, and university allocations supporting student outreach and retention initiatives, for the Student Programming Activities. The Administrator provides strategic financial leadership; develops internal controls; ensures compliance with federal, state, UC, and UCLA policies; and serves as the primary fiscal liaison to the SOLE Operations Manager for SPA regarding funding allocations, reconciliation, and compliance standards and assists in coaching and advising Student Program Advisors who work directly with students to support funding requests, purchasing, and disbursement processes, ensuring strong fiscal stewardship across all SPA programs. The primary emphasis for the Administrator is fiscal governance, budget management, compliance, and financial strategy. Serves as a resource to the Assistant Vice Chancellor on administrative operations, policy interpretation, and program implementation. Coordinates complex committee and funding governance processes, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and documentation standards. Interprets and applies university policies, funding guidelines, and administrative requirements to support equitable and compliant program administration.
